Blackburn Windy is another pup from the 1999 All Seasons B.D.L.W.D. (Woody) of Dutch Creek x Falling Branch Katie of Blackburn crossing that we kept.  We really planned on keeping Windy all along - partially because she was born breach and she needed a little assistance in the first few moments of her life.  Windy is the most athletic of all the Blackburn terriers.  She has tremendous control of her body, and loves to move around.  While she's yet to really show much on the race track or in go-to-ground, she is quite fast and she has fared quite well in lure coursing at numerous shows.  Windy has a nose for hunting and has been in the field, though she's yet to do much with her abilities.  She's also become quite turned on to agility, and took numerous first places in 2002.  Since she isn't competitive in racing or go-to-ground at this point, we're planning on putting our efforts into making Windy an agility champion.  Given her enthusiasm for the event and her natural ability, we think that she has an excellent shot at becoming a well-known agility competitor.
